Last year's manifesto was inspired by Rachel, and reinforced by Heather at my birthday celebration where my friends sat around my dining table and took turns putting in the kindest wishes for the next year of my life. I did well. I believe that when you set a goal with intention, experiences will find their way into your life to help you make it happen. I got thousands of chances and am grateful for them all. Love was my greatest teacher in this past year. I uncovered heights of happiness, sensitive wounds, untouched connection, raw vulnerability, and a new understanding of myself. It all amazes me.
In this next year I want to try harder to get out of my own head and get out of my own way. I spend too much time in there. I am hopeful that with a regular meditation practice and making my best effort not to take things personally or too seriously, I can lighten up my thoughts and be a better functioning human. I look forward to it.
