I am posting this a bit early this year, but I have some time as my flight to Hawaii got delayed 18.5 hours. Not such a big deal, and a reminder of how lucky I am. As they announced they delay due to mechanical problems, I simply got up, called my love, and he picked me back up, made me an amazing lunch, and now I am back in my cozy apartment in Redondo Beach. Bonus time. I'll make it home for Christmas and although this is the first time I won't get to wake up on Christmas morning and have breakfast with my family, I feel calm and happy.
What a great year. I loved and learned to my full capacity. That is what I believe life is all about.
